Canine Guests Are Happy at BlooMoon!
Dogs enjoy:
- Plenty of outdoor time in big grass yards, starting from the morning.
- Off-leash play sessions every 2-3 hours, more frequently than most dogs get at home.
- Stress-free schedules designed to help dogs adapt quickly.
Daily Routine:
- Morning yard time to run, stretch, and “do their business.”
- Breakfast in sterilized bowls.
- Regular outdoor play throughout the day.
- Evening meal and yard time, followed by a late-night outdoor session.
Important Information for Dog Owners
Canine Cough:
While we implement rigorous cleaning and disinfection protocols (including UV sanitizers in our air systems), no boarding facility can guarantee immunity from dog illnesses.
Boarding Requirements Health Restrictions:
Dogs must not have traveled, coughed, or sneezed in the last 14 days.
Vaccination Policy:
All vaccines must be administered at least 14 days before boarding. Vaccination Requirements To board, groom, or train at BlooMoon, pets must have:
- DHPP
- Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus
- Bordetella
- Rabies
Cats Are Pampered at BlooMoon!
Our feline guests stay in spacious two-room condos, with:
- Separate spaces for their litter box and sleeping area.
- Perches for superior views.
- Daily playtime in a sunny cat room featuring toys, cat furniture, and a window overlooking the woods.
Boarding Rates
Dog Day Boarding
$15.50/day per dog. Includes yard time, treats, and love!
Dog Overnight Boarding
Single: $38.50/night. (7+ nights = free bath!)
Double and Triple: 10% discount for 2 or 3 dogs sharing a run. Triple only available dogs under 30 lbs
Bully Breeds: $45.00/night (single runs only)
Special Handled: $45.00/night (single runs only)
Holiday & Peak Rates
Additional 10% during major holidays.
50% deposit required for holiday bookings (refundable with 14 days’ notice).
Monthly Boarding (30-day minimum)
10% discount off standard rates when paid in advance.
Includes complimentary baths and extra playtime.
Cat Boarding
$22.00/day per cat in a two-room condo.
Critter & Bird Boarding
Small Birds: $13.50/night
Large Birds & Small Animals (e.g., rabbits, reptiles): $16.50/night
Add Fun Activities to Your Pet’s Stay!
Spoil your pets with optional services:
- Home Made Ice Cream: $1.50 per day
- Stuffed Kong: $3.00 per day. Stuffed with frozen, yummy treats to keep your dog occupied
- Group Play (supervised playtime if compatible dogs are available): $5.00 per session
- Individual Time: $5.00 per session of brushing, petting, or cuddles.
- Senior Service Time: $8.00 per day – Tailored care for senior dogs.
- Playtime (Ball or Frisbee Toss): $5.00 per session
- Pool Time: $8.00 per swim session with staff supervision.
- Laser Chase (for cats): $5.00 per session.
- Nature walk: $15.00 per session for a walk around our 4 acre property.

More Questions about Boarding
- Is there an extra fee for giving my pet medications during boarding?
We do not charge an additional fee for administering the medications your pet may require. We ask that you provide us with clear instructions as to how much and how often medications need to be given.
- Should I bring food for my dog?
YES!
Since many dogs do not transition well on and off different foods, we ask that you provide food for your dog while boarding with clear feeding instructions.
"House" food is available for $4.00 per day (2 meals a day) for the pets that check in without food from home.
BlooMoon is Raw friendly, as well as frozen, freeze dried, refrigerated, which ever type of food your pet is used to being fed at home. - What will my pet sleep on? Should I bring a bed or bedding?
BlooMoon will provide raised Kuranda beds and/or blankets during your pet's stay. However, you're welcome to bring your pet's own bedding also. Pets checking in with their own bedding, and staying 7 nights or longer will have his/her bedding laundered the night before going home.
- Can I bring toys for my dog?
Yes, you may bring up to 3 toys. Our goal is to always return items to you; however, we cannot guarantee this, so please keep his/her favorite toy safely at home.
Do not bring toys that might harm your dog if ingested. Though we have eyes on your dog throughout the day, we cannot monitor it moment by moment to catch it in the act.
If we see your dog chewing too aggressively on a toy or bedding, we will remove it for safety.
